Dell Pre-Installing XenServer
Pre-Installing XenServer on PowerEdge Servers for Worldwide Distribution

Digg This!

Citrix says that Dell has started pre-installing XenServer on PowerEdge servers at the factory for worldwide distribution. It said XenServer Dell products are the only virtualization solutions to integrate Dell’s OpenManage agent technology, which is supposed to make customer feel comfortable.

And Egenera’s PAN system, which Dell is OEMing, is going to manage XenServer, providing it with disaster recovery and high availability for large enterprise data centers.

Citrix figures XenServer for a wedge for its XenApp Windows applications central store and XenDesktop, which is due out May 20.
