WordStream, Inc., a leading provider of keyword management solutions, announced today that it has been named as a finalist for the 6th Annual MITX Technology Awards. The MITX Technology Awards recognize emergent and innovative technologies developed in the New England area, as well as the individuals and organizations responsible for driving these advancements. The Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) is the country’s premier Internet business and marketing association.
WordStream, Inc. recently introduced an innovative suite of online keyword management solutions for continuously optimizing and expanding Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts involving large numbers of keywords. WordStream provides a scalable, private, online keyword workbench for conducting keyword discovery, keyword suggestion, keyword research, keyword grouping, keyword organization, search marketing workflow and integrated tools for acting on keyword research.
“Keyword research and management are critical to achieving success in both paid and organic search marketing, yet the work required to continuously discover, research, organize and act on keywords is repetitive and time consuming,” says Larry Kim, Founder and VP of Products & Marketing at WordStream. “WordStream is an innovative, new technology that enables companies to be more effective and efficient when researching and managing large keyword taxonomies, and in doing so, increases the value of their search marketing efforts.”
"Being named a finalist in the MITX Technology Awards is an important achievement," says Kiki Mills, executive director of MITX. "This recognition translates into increased exposure with media, industry analysts and investors, and provides them a higher profile in their industry. We congratulate all of the finalists on their achievement and wish them well in the competition."
WordStream will be recognized with the other finalists in the category of Online Advertising at an awards ceremony attended by the region’s top technology and business professionals. Winners will be announced at the ceremony at the Westin Copley Hotel on Tuesday, June 16, 2009.
