(Montvale, NJ, May 24, 2005) - SYS-CON Media (www.sys-con.com), the world's leading i-technology media company, announced today that it will be launching six new titles in the second half of this year to add to its portfolio of 16 leading i-technology titles. The new titles will include LAMP Developer's Journal (www.LAMP.sys-con.com), SEM/SEO Journal (www.SEO.sys-con.com), Linux Enterprise Magazine -in multiple languages- (www.LinuxEnterpriseMagazine.com), and three additional titles covering popular proprietary technologies.
Editorial direction for these titles will be set by world-class international advisory boards, a "who's who" of their subject areas. LAMP Developer's Journal will cover open source technologies, with an emphasis on Apache, MySQL Perl / PHP / Python opinion pieces and articles authored by the world's most respected and well-known experts. SEM/SEO Journal will serve as the central resource for the evolving search engine optimization and search engine marketing industry. Linux Enterprise Magazine will be launched online as well as in print with worldwide newsstand distribution in multiple languages, and cover a variety of articles, including cases studies and success stories on deployment of Linux in large-scale enterprise projects.
The remaining three new titles, which will focus on proprietary technologies, will be announced individually to coincide with their exact launch dates.
