(Montvale, NJ, May 23, 2005) - SYS-CON Media (www.sys-con.com), the world's leading i-technology media company, announced today the launch of its new Web site. SYS-CON.com will offer more than 86,000 articles; SYS-CON.TV (www.SYS-CON.tv), streaming live internet television and video news archives; Blog-n-play (www.blog-n-play.com), the first branded blog community in the world; and SYS-CON University at www.education.SYS-CON.com.
The site opened to public beta on April 19 and is currently going through a series of tests. Currently SYS-CON.com offers close to 90,000 technology articles including a complete archives of all of SYS-CON's 16 titles, in addition to daily breaking news stories and editorials.
With the launch of the site and the addition of significant new features, SYS-CON Media will also make adjustments to its subscription model by introducing a free membership option. SYS-CON readers will enjoy free access to all magazines' archived content (older than six months) by simply logging into their account when they visit the site, after completing their one-time profile sign-up page. Readers will also be able to change their profile information, including their print subscription addresses, and manage their free newsletter subscriptions without contacting customer service. The premium published content will be available to all registered SYS-CON readers after 6 months, while paid subscribers will have full access to this and new content during their subscription period. The readers will also be able to purchase a single digital copy of any SYS-CON magazine or a popular education class by using their credit card or PayPal accounts.
