PARIS, December 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Momondo.com, the world's leading search engine for flights is now available in French, for all the French-speaking travellers. The site, accessible at http://www.tarifair.fr, researches and posts all essential information needed to compare, choose, book and plan the next holiday or business trip.
Thanks to its advanced technology, tarif'air researches simultaneously hundreds of sites for low costs or traditional airlines and likewise all the travel-related search sites. The result, presented in a clear way, is adaptable to the traveller's needs in terms of price range, departure or return time, airport or type of airline desired.
Momondo is the only site actually searching all the low costs airlines in the world. It has been victorious from comparison tests carried out by independent media and is recommended by Miami Herald, New York Times or The Guardian, to name some.
The highly respected American travelbook publisher, Arthur Frommer who tested Momondo against other search engines concluded that Momondo was generally cheaper. "Even for flights within the USA, the site seems to come up with the best fares," says A. Frommer on November 5th, 2007.
"We are excited to work with tarif'air and look forward to many joint initiatives to help French consumers navigate and find the best travel deals on the net," said Thorvald Stigsen, Momondo's CEO.
"The low-cost market is booming all over Europe, including in France. It becomes very difficult to find its way among the numerous search engines which are all proposing the "best fares."
tarif'air is today the fastest, the easiest and the most complete Internet tool available for French speaking travellers. "It is to some extent a kind of Google for flights!" said Leon Perelman, Director of tarif'air.
Momondo.com is globally a founding tool that provides the visitor with a search that includes more than 500 sites and over 600 airlines. It has been developed using the sophisticated Web 2.0 mash-up technology, that provides simultaneous access to hundred of sites in an interactive way.
tarif'air developed the French version of momondo.com and proposes today the best tool available for the French-speaking people to book their flights and hotels at the best price on the market.
