Good Technology is Recognized for Inclusion in a Sixth STIG Approval from Defense Information Systems Agency

Good Becomes the Only Enterprise Mobility Management Provider to be Validated on Three Mobile Operating Systems

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Good Technology™, the leader in secure mobility, today announced that the company has received approval for their Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) from the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) for iOS 7 and has been included within five prior STIGs resulting from a long standing collaboration with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).  As the only mobility provider to be validated on three independent operating systems, this milestone signifies the trust that U.S. government agencies have in Good's dedication to providing the most reliable and secure mobility solutions.

The latest Good STIG will enable the U.S. Department of Defense and other U.S. government agencies to securely implement Good on iOS7 for mobile device management (MDM), mobile email management (MEM), as well as mobile application management (MAM) using the combination of Good Dynamics®, the company's secure mobility platform, and Good For Enterprise® for secure mail. Good Dynamics integrates application containerization, mobile application management, an enterprise app store, and MDM, simplifying the creation of mobile apps and the ongoing management of apps, data and devices. Good for Enterprise securely manages data and devices with secure email, calendar information, contact details, browser access, task management and document data. For agencies looking for a greater level of security, Good for Enterprise supports S/MIME with both smart cards as well as derived credentials.
