Launch.it Partners with CE Week 2014 to Create a Publication of Exhibitor News for Attendees and Media to Find, Discover and Share

CE Week, the consumer electronics (CE) industry’s annual mid-year event, today announced its continued partnership with Launch.it, the Event News and Social Engagement Platform, to power their conference news publication – CE Week News. This news platform will provide all participating exhibitors with the ability to write, manage and socialize their news content (press release, fact sheet, brochures, videos, etc.) by providing attendees and media with a central location to visually search and find all the news from the show. Taking place citywide, CE Week 2014 is scheduled June 23-27 in New York City, with the CE Week Exhibits and Conference Program scheduled June 25-26 at the Metropolitan Pavilion/Altman Building.

Through this partnership, all participating exhibitors will have access to the following tools:

  • Social media news release for maximum sociability and engagement
  • In-depth analytics (page views, time on page, downloads, etc.)
  • Wiki-like environment to make updates to your story on the fly
  • Media can opt-in to follow your company to get real-time news updates
  • An action box to engage readers to find investments, media contacts, etc.
  • Facebook comments for insight and virility
  • Rich multi-media tags for enhanced engagement and discoverability
  • “Buy it” and “Trial it” buttons to drive users directly to “your” point-of-purchase
  • Customized tweets for precise messaging and branding

“CE Week is the CE industry’s official mid-year meet up. With over 130 exhibitors displaying the latest technology innovations to the industry’s top media, analysts and retailers, it is a must-attend event. Through our partnership, we will ensure that all the news from the show can easily be found, discovered and shared by the attendees and media,” said Trace Cohen, President and Co-Founder of Launch.it.

The CE Week News platform can be read at http://www.ceweekny.com/press-releases and will continually be updated with news prior to, during and after the show. All news is FREE to view, read and share.

About Launch.it

The Launch.it "Event News and Social Engagement Platform" is currently being used by conferences and events to create a central location for all their exhibitor and partner news. Essentially, we are digitizing the press kits and flash drives that conference organizers spend hours preparing and distributing and replacing it with an online social environment that has analytics, and directly engages the attendees and media through Launch.it’s customer-facing site with search capabilities. The best part is that the exhibitors do this all themselves! So for less effort, events make more money because Launch.it does a revenue share with them, as the exhibitors pay a fee to be a part of the Launch.it platform.
