US Sweepstakes Launches New Website and Wins 2014 Best of the Web Award for Business Services

Redesign implemented in conjunction with company's growth, new branding, and expanded offering of products and services

ROCHESTER, N.Y., April 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- US Sweepstakes and Fulfillment Company (ussweeps.com), a leading national sweepstakes and interactive promotional marketing company, has been honored with the 2014 Rochester Business Journal (RBJ) Best of the Web Award in the Business and Professional Services category.

RBJ is Rochester's leading source of business news and information. The award was presented to Barbara Laughton, President of US Sweepstakes, at RBJ's annual awards breakfast on April 9. The awards were given for sites determined to be Rochester's best business websites by a panel of judges. They evaluated finalist sites from several hundred that were nominated based on navigability, usability, functionality, content, art and visual design, and standards compliance.

US Sweepstakes, which serves a national client base, launched its new website in July 2013. The complete redesign was implemented in conjunction with the company's continuous growth, new branding, and expanded offering of products and services. Key features of the new site include new graphics tied to the company's new brand identity, the addition of live campaigns and demos, a broad spectrum of case studies, and introduction of social media expertise and engagement opportunities. The site is user-friendly and provides potential clients the opportunity to view the many options US Sweepstakes offers for sweepstakes and contests.

"The quality of our lead generation has improved exponentially," said Laughton of the new site. "That is of critical importance to us since we rely on SEO for the majority of our external awareness and advertising. We actively monitor our PPC and organic campaigns and have been able to improve our return on investment because the SEO is so strong. Our SEO ranking has been consistently high and our key terms have remained in the top rankings for our brand category. We have also added new content, and enhanced navigation to guide people to relevant information."

The web site was developed by Dalmath Associates, an integrated marketing communications firm based in Rochester, NY.

US Sweepstakes and Fulfillment Co. ("US Sweeps"), is headquartered in Rochester, NY and also has an office in Naples, Florida. Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...
The explosion of new web/cloud/IoT-based applications and the data they generate are transforming our world right before our eyes. In this rush to adopt these new technologies, organizations are often ignoring fundamental questions concerning who owns the data and failing to ask for permission to conduct invasive surveillance of their customers. Organizations that are not transparent about how their systems gather data telemetry without offering shared data ownership risk product rejection, regu...
