OneID has been named as a finalist for a 2013 Innovator Award in the category of Best New Technology. One of five finalists in the their category, OneID is being recognized as a leader in the payments industry. Voting took place from February 21 to March 8 on PYMNTS.com with the winners being announced during a live ceremony hosted by The Office’s B.J. Novak on March 21 from The Innovation Project, a two-day program that will challenge the way that the payments and broader commerce ecosystem thinks, develops, and ignites innovation. OneID is being recognized for introducing a fully trustable, online identity solution that is easy for customers to use.
“We all know that the username and password system is frustrating at best, and OneID delivers a better way. We are thrilled to be getting the recognition as an Innovator Award nominee for a new online identity solution that people actually like,” says Alex Doll. “OneID has removed the pain of passwords and replaced it with a highly secure yet user-friendly solution that relies on clicks and taps, and delivers a greater level of security than what’s available today. “
OneID securely enables login, form-fill and transaction authorization in just a few clicks, without the need for usernames and passwords. And to put consumers on the fast track toward controlling their personal information online, OneID released OneID QuickFill browser extension, available for Chrome with Firefox and Safari coming soon. Using OneID QuickFill, consumers can create their OneID and securely retrieve their encrypted information from their OneID account, flying through the checkout process and achieving new levels of personal digital security.
