PITOOEY! Concludes Successful Week as Sponsor of the Waste Management Phoenix Open (changing its name from White Dental Supply)

PHOENIX, Feb. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- PITOOEY!, Inc. (OTCBB: PTOO) concluded a successful seven day run at the Waste Management Phoenix Open this past week. Attendees expressed consistently positive feedback regarding the services the PITOOEY!™ app will provide. Consumers and business owners were enthusiastic about being able to partake in this groundbreaking marketing opportunity.

"We are very excited about launching PITOOEY!™ at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, and the buzz generated throughout the tournament exceeded all expectations. Our team did a fantastic job spreading the message and excitement about PITOOEY!™ to the attendees of the Open," said CEO Jacob DiMartino. "We are incredibly optimistic about the future of PITOOEY!™"

Upon entering the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the massive crowds were greeted by a DJ and the energetic staff of "PITOOEY!™ Girls." They were then directed to the grand PITOOEY!™ Glacier, which was adorned with 60-inch flat screen TVs and 3' tall versions of the company's penguin logo, "PITOOEY!" . The ultimate purpose of the Glacier display and the PITOOEY!™ Girls was to educate people about PITOOEY!™ and encourage them to download the free app. Establishing a large group of dedicated, early adopters is crucial for the success of apps in this space, and the Phoenix Open did exactly that for PITOOEY!™

On Saturday, February 2, the Waste Management Phoenix Open broke an all-time PGA tour single day attendance record with 179,022 spectators, and overall the event saw 525,821 attendees.

The launch of PITOOEY!™ received tremendous exposure at the WMPO, the perfect opportunity to build brand awareness. With 160 QR codes located throughout the course, the impressive vendor booth featuring our Glacier, to the PITOOEY!™ Girls welcoming visitors at the booth and canvassing the course, nearly every attendee was aware of this new and innovative app. On the final day of the tournament the PITOOEY!™ Girls could be seen with the PITOOEY!™ Penguin poster and legions of rowdy fans waving their PITOOEY!™ gear on live television at the infamous 16th hole. Ultimately, the PITOOEY!™ Penguin poster was signed by most of the PGA players including with the Waste Management Phoenix Open Winner, Phil Mickelson.  And who says penguins only do well in cold weather?!
