DENVER, CO -- (Marketwire) -- 02/13/13 -- Business Marketing Association Colorado (BMA Colorado) is accepting entries for its annual Gold Key competition which established more than 30 years ago as a means for showcasing the best of business-to-business marketing in Colorado.
Gold Key features 60 categories including integrated marketing campaigns, web sites, search engine marketing, multimedia, print ads, brochures, direct mail, public relations, trade show exhibits, annual reports, and newsletters. New categories include event marketing, demand generation, and content marketing.
Entries are judged on four equally-weighted components: objectives, creativity, production, and results. The judging panel is comprised of out-of-state marketing professionals from agencies, corporations, and academic institutions.
"Gold Key attained a prestigious reputation because entries are judged holistically, with equal emphasis on strategic thinking, creative approach, production quality, and effectiveness," said BMA Colorado President Jennifer Nealson. "The holistic nature of the competition ensures that award recipients have not only produced quality creative work, but also have met objectives and achieved real-world success on behalf of their companies or clients."
To be eligible for a Gold Key award, submitted entries must be business-to-business focused, the marketing must have taken place between January 1, 2012 and February 1, 2013, and the work must pertain to a company that does business within the state of Colorado. Non-Colorado-based corporations and agencies are eligible to enter work on behalf of a business with a Colorado presence.
The deadline for entries is March 1, 2013. Winning entries will be recognized at the Gold Key Gala on April 26, 2013 in the Seawell Ballroom at Denver Center for the Performing Arts.
To enter, one can submit an entry form and materials at www.bmacolorado.org/goldkey. Call 303.607.9957 with any questions.
