Global data center services provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) is offering a complimentary webinar Feb. 15, from noon to 1 p.m. CST. The webinar is titled “How IT Executives Can Avoid the Ultimate Gamble – A New Data Center” and is designed to help IT executives learn more about the top IT infrastructure challenges facing enterprise companies. The webinar is going to review two fundamental data center strategy options and the criteria one multinational firm used to select its option.
Webinar presenters are Dr. Greg Smith, head of Portfolio Solution Design at T-Systems, and Kevin Timmons, chief technology officer at CyrusOne and formerly of Microsoft and Yahoo!. The webinar is geared toward CIOs, CTOs, IT directors and managers, as well as business owners.
“As we look at 2013 and beyond, we know IT executives face numerous challenges dealing with IT infrastructure rationalization,” said Timmons. “The top challenges include managing the explosion of big data, the pressure to move toward cloud-based environments, and the increasing power and cooling demands of their current IT environments. In addition, many IT executives are making data center build decisions without fully understanding the total cost of ownership. In this webinar, IT executives will learn how T-Systems met the challenge of scaling their mission critical infrastructure to match customer demand, without the capital and long-term commitment of building a facility.”
During this one-hour webinar, Smith and Timmons are planning to discuss these challenges, available data center solutions, and the key factors T-Systems used when selecting the right strategic partner to provide dynamic services in the U.S. market. Register for the webinar here.
