Dominion Dealer Solutions Launches Live Video for Lot Services

Dominion Dealer Solutions, leader in automotive marketing, CRM and inventory solutions, has unveiled an industry-first video tool available exclusively through Dominion Dealer Specialties. Dominion’s Live Video improves customer engagement by using exterior and interior video footage instead of stitched vehicle photos, as well as unique vehicle descriptors. These vehicle descriptors are customized to reflect online shopper search behavior. This allows dealers to truly showcase their vehicles in a detailed, 360-degree view for online automotive shoppers.

The 60-second vehicle video comes complete with unique vehicle descriptors based on common search terms, a human voice announcer, and customized video branding for the dealer. This combination creates an accurately detailed and easily understood live video about the car of interest. This not only showcases the vehicle, but also provides the online automotive shopper with relevant information including CARFAX reports, MPG statistics, manufacturer CPO integration and more. Dominion’s Live Videos can be distributed to any customer touch points such as the dealer’s website, GetAuto.com, YouTube, Cars.com, and Autotrader.com.

“This new service provided by Dominion Dealer Specialties’ 400 certified lot professionals ensures that rich vehicle video content can be created for any dealer,” stated Glen Garvin, vice president for Dominion Dealer Specialties. “The ability to capture customized video for all new and used vehicles is a great addition to our suite of offerings for lot services.”

Dominion’s Live Video offers online consumers full vehicle visuals and details, improving engagement and increasing the number of dealership website leads. By optimizing the vehicle listings with relevant information and video, the Live Video tool also improves the dealership’s SEO ranking. The Live Video tool is just one more way Dominion Dealer Solutions works to drive customers from the website to the dealership’s door.

Machine learning has taken residence at our cities' cores and now we can finally have "smart cities." Cities are a collection of buildings made to provide the structure and safety necessary for people to function, create and survive. Buildings are a pool of ever-changing performance data from large automated systems such as heating and cooling to the people that live and work within them. Through machine learning, buildings can optimize performance, reduce costs, and improve occupant comfort by ...
The explosion of new web/cloud/IoT-based applications and the data they generate are transforming our world right before our eyes. In this rush to adopt these new technologies, organizations are often ignoring fundamental questions concerning who owns the data and failing to ask for permission to conduct invasive surveillance of their customers. Organizations that are not transparent about how their systems gather data telemetry without offering shared data ownership risk product rejection, regu...
