BikerCheQ.com is a new service launched to provide identification to motorcyclists, bicyclists, joggers, etc. who do not carry standard forms of identification during these activities.
With BikerCheQ, customers can link a QR code on a wristband to an online account containing their photo, contact information and emergency contact information. In the event of an accident, first responders can scan the QR code on the wristband to immediately identify the individual, as well as notify the person’s emergency contact. If GPS is enabled on the scanner’s smartphone, the emergency contact will also receive a notification that includes a map link to the location where the QR code was scanned. If immediate Internet access is not available, notification can be sent to the emergency contact by calling the BikerCheQ Notification System.
The development of this easy-to-use service was led by the growing interest in QR codes and the need to provide valuable information in case medical attention is necessary. BikerCheQ wristbands, shoe tags, and stickers are available for purchase by visiting https://www.bikercheq.com.
The term QR code stands for “Quick Response Code.” A QR code is a barcode that is readable by QR scanners, mobile phones with a camera, and smartphones. The barcode can store website URL’s, text, contact details, Google Maps locations, and much more.
