Intel will launch a new Atom processor code-named Lexington aimed at emerging markets in a move to put more of its chips into smartphones.  The V.P. for Intel's Mobile and Communications Group, said Acer, Africa-based Safaricom, and Lava, based in India, will announce products based on Lexington in the first quarter. According to comScore, in the three-month period ending November 2012, Google had a 53.7 percent market share, up from 52.6 percent in August. Apple's market share rose from 34.3 percent to 35 percent, while RIM, Microsoft and Symbian all lost market share, dropping to 7.3 percent, 3 percent and 0.5 percent respectively.  Read Original Content
