SAN FRANCISCO, Dec. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in the time for the holidays, TastingRoom.com has released a newly revamped website that will enable consumers to socially share and peruse their extensive wine library in style. TastingRoom.com has been taking the risk out of purchasing wine online for over three years now, but the release of the company's new website marks an increased focus on user experience.

"Wine is inherently social, and we kept this front of mind as we approached our redesign," said Ian Hackett, VP of Ecommerce. "We integrated our social channels into the website design, so our customers can connect with us in whatever way they find most convenient. For example, customers can now sign into our site through Facebook Connect and then comment on and share our content with their Friends. In addition to this social element, we simplified our navigation, refined our search engine and built more compelling product pages that really highlight our exclusive offering."
TastingRoom.com is a unique online retailer that enables consumers to discover and enjoy wine in several formats. Their innovative Wine Samplers are curated collections of six premium wines from around the world, packaged in small, taste-size (50ml) bottles. You can select Samplers based on varietal, region or from our "celebrity" line, which include wines hand-picked by Emeril Lagasse, Gary Vaynerchuk, Michael Chiarello and Rajat Parr. Their Wines by the Glass are single-serve (100ml) bottles that allow consumers to enjoy a single glass of wine whenever they like. Their Taste Explorer™ Wine Club allows consumers to try before they buy: members select the Wine Sampler they want to receive and then choose their two favorite wines from that flight to receive as full-size (750ml) bottles.
For the smaller format products, TastingRoom.com uses a revolutionary transfer technology, their innovative T.A.S.T.E. (Total Anaerobic Sample Transfer Environment) Technology®, which ensures their wine products reflect the same delicious flavors consumers expect in the full-size bottles.
"Our vision has always been to make wine more approachable for consumers," said Tim Bucher, founder of TastingRoom, Inc. and inventor of T.A.S.T.E. Technology. "Our new website takes another step towards that goal by making the purchase experience of Wine Samplers, Wines by the Glass and Wine Bottles easier and more engaging for our customers."
TastingRoom.com is a fast-paced start up with three offices in the San Francisco Bay Area. For more information, please visit www.TastingRoom.com.
