As an internet marketing company, Webdigia's focus and main source of clients comes from the web. Jonathon Moore, the co-founder of Webdigia explains how important it is to understand your website's visitors and supply them with what they are looking for.
"Landing pages are a form of art. Answering a visitor's questions, instilling trust and funneling them from a visitor into a client is our goal and every other business who owns a website has the same mindset even if they don't know how to get there - but that's where we come in," said Moore.
Internet marketing and the internet in general is still relatively new, however it is on pace to catch up and likely pass other forms of traditional media and marketing; and for good reason. Much of this is due to the internet's influence over our daily lives and how we rely on it for research, directions, shopping, connecting with friends and family and so much more.
"Consumers have smartphones, tablets and laptops on the go and in their homes. Where do you think they go to research a business, product or service? Oh and, How many times have you heard someone say 'just Google it,'" added Moore.
A business must first be visible in the search results and to targeted customers for their desired keywords unless paid traffic is being used. Landing pages are any page that a visitor lands on when they click a link to a website. It could be the homepage, or in the case of Webdigia, a specially designed page that is focused on converting leads. These pages have psychology influences on them with color, images and word choices and even predict the path that a visitor will go. Nothing is put on a landing page that hasn't been thought through and how it will impact the visitor's experience and decision to carry out the desired action or response.
Right now, business is booming for Webdigia's web maintenance service and their new landing page design is a large part of that equation. "We needed to explain the process of how our website maintenance service works from start to finish and we needed to do it in a ridiculously simple way. This was evident after realizing it was a repeated question being asked during lead inquiries and was likely holding our visitors back from making a final purchase decision. Uncertainty is not good for business," said Moore.
