EDMONTON, ALBERTA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/21/12 -- BubbleUP Marketing and Whytespace Ltd., two locally founded businesses specializing in complementary marketing and internet services, announced today a definitive merger agreement that will result in a significant placement within the rapidly growing, online and traditional marketing industry. Upon forming this alliance, BubbleUP Marketing will now offer Edmonton a complete marketing solution for both existing and new clients. The two companies will operate under the BubbleUP Marketing brand.
The merger is going to see the retention of all staff from both companies, welcome news to the twelve employees plus outside creative contractors just six weeks before Christmas. BubbleUP Marketing President Jason Vance says the company is busier than ever and has maintained full operational capacity throughout the merge and move to larger office facilities in west end Edmonton. Today, with the merger announcement, the company unveiled a new brand and corporate identity plus the launch of their brand new website at www.bubbleup.ca.
The expanded offering of in-house services at BubbleUP Marketing means the company's approach will be entirely comprehensive, extending from print and graphic design materials, to web design, custom application programming, and longer term online marketing strategy development and implementation. Among BubbleUP's unique offerings is the provision of a project manager to each client, to guide them through the process and ensure key development dates and deadlines are on track. As well, BubbleUP is uniquely equipped with a talented development team that specializes in custom web applications, online work-flow integration, and e-commerce solutions.
BubbleUP started as an online Edmonton marketing company in 2003, offering search engine optimization and online advertising campaigns. Since then, the company has expanded to include a wide variety of communications, design, and marketing services offered across government, education, and commercial market segments.
Whytespace Ltd. was founded in 2000, by Travis and Sarah Whyte, a Sherwood Park couple who were inspired to create a web design company focused on delivering the highest quality of service to customers. Whytespace Ltd. experienced tremendous growth and success and soon expanded to Edmonton and then Calgary. With over 320 clients throughout Alberta, Mr. Whyte says the merger is an "exciting opportunity to see two strong teams join forces and remain united under a clear initiative: the best possible client experience."
Joining BubbleUP Marketing as Technical Manager, Travis Whyte brings a broad range of specialized expertise to the team, and will continue to be instrumental in ensuring clients see consistent positive return on their investment through unique web design and custom strategies. Whyte notes that for the more than 320 Whytespace clients throughout Alberta, nothing will change. Existing customers will remain serviced by the same account teams. A larger staff is expected to further increase internal efficiency and client service, plus provide new offerings of optimization and marketing services.
BubbleUp's Vance says welcoming Whytespace Ltd. into the fold was a move that "just made sense", with both driven entrepreneurs bringing startup experience solidly built on a foundation of client-centric operations. "This is a decisive move that positions us to offer greater value to our customers and partners. Both companies have been pursuing similar organizational objectives, and there is immense talent being brought together," explains Vance.
BubbleUP Marketing anticipates a more competitive positioning as a result of the merger. However, the real excitement lies in the new ability to serve clients throughout the entire marketing lifecycle, from initial logo and brand to website design and through to search engine optimization and web traffic initiatives.
