NEW YORK, Nov. 7, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- AppNexus, the world leader in real-time advertising technology, announced today that Lynda Clarizio, a widely recognized leader in advertising and media, is joining the company as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development and Operations. Clarizio, who will report to AppNexus CEO Brian O'Kelley, will be responsible for managing corporate and business development as well as the company's corporate and administrative operations, including people operations, legal and policy affairs.

Clarizio has a deep background in the digital media and advertising technology industries. Most recently, she served as President and CEO at INVISION Inc., where she led development of the industry's first suite of products for the cross-platform sale of advertising across television, digital and other forms of media.
Previously, Clarizio held a number of leadership positions within AOL, including serving as President of AOL's Platform-A and as President of Advertising.com. She was also the Executive Vice President of AOL's Audience Business responsible for strategy, finance and business development; AOL's Senior Vice President for corporate strategic and financial planning and Senior Vice President for acquisitions and strategic investments.
Before joining AOL, Clarizio was a partner in the Washington, DC law firm Arnold & Porter. She graduated from Harvard Law School and earned her Bachelor's degree from Princeton University.
