How to Use CloudBerry Backup with Google Cloud Storage

This post explains how to sign up for Google Cloud Storage, find you access keys and use them to connect CloudBerry Backup with your Google Cloud Storage account.

Sign up for Google Cloud Storage

To sign up for Google Cloud Storage, follow this step-by-step instruction.

Access Keys

After the sign up is complete go to the Google apis Console and find your Storage Access Keys in the “Google Cloud Storage” portion that can be accessed from the left side menu.
You will need "Access Key" and "Secret Key" to connect CloudBerry Backup with your Google Cloud Storage account.

Download CloudBerry Backup

Download Desktop edition or Server edition of CloudBerry Backup. Install and launch the program. 

Configure CloudBerry Backup for Google Cloud Storage

Start the Backup Wizard and select <Create a new account> option in the "Google Storage" drop down menu.
Enter your “Access Key” and “Secret Key” to connect CloudBerry Backup with Google Cloud Storage
If keys were entered correctly, you will see the list of your existing buckets. Complete the rest of the Backup Wizard steps to customize your backup plan and enjoy CloudBerry Backup with Google Cloud Storage.
