Ontology Joins Latin American Operators At Futurecom

The industry leading Semantic search technology leader showcases Intelligent 360 apps at Futurecom in Rio de Janerio

London, UK - October 5th, 2012: Ontology Systems, the semantic search technology provider for Enterprise Data Alignment, is set to show visitors to Futurecom in Brazil next week how operators can deploy an accurate 360° view of their customers, services and multi-technology network infrastructure using breakthrough semantic search technologies, rather than traditional large-scale integration.

Visitors to the conference will be able to see how the award-winning Ontology Intelligent 360 applications are delivered through a live web portal and include:

  • Customer Explorer for Customer Services users who can see, on a single screen, the active state of all the services and infrastructure that the customer is using, enabling them to quickly resolve the customer queries.

  • Service & Inventory Explorer and Service Impact Analyser for Network Operations and Change Management users who can visualize the full multi-layer topology and search for the impact of unexpected faults or planned changes on core services or customers within seconds.

  • Data Migrator for IT users who use Ontology to realign conflicting data sources across multiple inventory, network and BSS systems in advance of upgrades and migrations.

Benedict Enweani, CEO and founder of Ontology Systems, commented: "We are looking forward to meeting with Latin American operators at the conference and sharing the spectacular results achieved with our global customers. These include global operators like BT, Level 3, Telenor, Telkom and Vodafone, where we have been able to deliver these applications very quickly and at a fraction of the expected cost."

The conference is being held at Riocentro, Rio de Janeiro from October 8th to 11th. See http://www.futurecom.com.br/2012/en/ for more information about the event.

About Ontology Systems
Ontology Systems have caused Communications Service Providers (CSPs) to rethink the way they find and align customer, equipment and service information. CSPs spend vast sums of money attempting to do this via integration but getting usable results is hard. The world's largest misaligned system is the Internet and you search the Internet. Ontology believes you should search your systems too.

Using state-of-the-art semantic search technologies, Ontology quickly finds and aligns business entities in operational, business and infrastructure systems. We provide a single, accurate, enterprise-wide view of customers, services and network assets.

We call it Enterprise Data Alignment (EDA). CSPs who achieve EDA significantly increase profit and reduce costs by preventing revenue leaks, improving service management, enhancing customer experience, maximising network assets and improving the speed and accuracy of migration.

Ontology is semantic search for Enterprise Data Alignment.

Today's workforce is trading their cubicles and corporate desktops in favor of an any-location, any-device work style. And as digital natives make up more and more of the modern workforce, the appetite for user-friendly, cloud-based services grows. The center of work is shifting to the user and to the cloud. But managing a proliferation of SaaS, web, and mobile apps running on any number of clouds and devices is unwieldy and increases security risks. Steve Wilson, Citrix Vice President of Cloud,...
