Partnership Gives Local Merchants Exposure to a Vast Audience Across Leading Titles From Two of the Country's Largest Newspaper Companies

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 05/23/12 -- Signpost, the leading innovator in local advertising for small businesses, today announced that it has partnered with Digital First Media. The deal will bring Signpost's white label hyper local ad content to two of the largest newspaper companies in the country, MediaNews Group and Journal Register Company, which reach 57 million Americans in 18 states.

By having their deals syndicated across leading local titles like The Denver Post, Salt Lake Tribune, San Jose Mercury News, St. Paul Pioneer Press and the New Haven Register, this partnership will open up a vast new audience of potential customers for merchants using the Signpost platform. In turn, Digital First Media will be able to enhance their editorial coverage of local news through high-quality deals from local merchants.

"This partnership is a huge milestone for us, as it adds significantly to the opportunities for local exposure and customer acquisition that we can offer our merchants," said Stuart Wall, CEO of Signpost. "It also builds on the momentum we've seen as a company as we continue to partner with leading media companies like Digital First."
