Talend’s Madeleine Biskintaoui Recognized by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine as One of the Top 100 Women in the Channel

Talend, the recognized market leader in open source data integration software, today announced that Madeleine Biskintaoui, manager, North America channels and alliances, has been recognized by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine as one of the Top 100 Women in the Channel. The Top 100 Women in the Channel were chosen by the editors of the magazine based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. The Top 100 Women in the Channel represent a changing trend in a traditionally all male industry.

Biskintaoui brought more than 10 years of channel experience to Talend when she joined the company in April, 2009. Under her leadership, Talend has been able to expand its partner program to include systems integrators, OEMs, and technology partners, and successfully establish a strong infrastructure for future channel growth. In her current role, Biskintaoui is also responsible for leading the overall coordination of Talend’s channel strategy in North America.

“Talend is a company that greatly values and supports its channel partners, with the understanding that they are key factors to its overall success,” said Biskintaoui. “I am proud and fortunate to be part of Talend, and I appreciate the recognition from Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine for the work that I have done.”

A special feature profiling the Top 100 Women of the Channel is in the August issue of CRN Magazine and expanded coverage will be featured online at www.channelweb.com.

“We are very pleased to see women executives reaching the highest levels in a wide range of dynamic companies. It is with great pleasure that we honor the women that have made a profound impact in the technology marketplace. We offer our congratulations to Madeleine Biskintaoui for her significant contributions to our industry,” Robert C. DeMarzo, senior vice president and editorial director, Everything Channel.

The Jevons Paradox suggests that when technological advances increase efficiency of a resource, it results in an overall increase in consumption. Writing on the increased use of coal as a result of technological improvements, 19th-century economist William Stanley Jevons found that these improvements led to the development of new ways to utilize coal. In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Mark Thiele, Chief Strategy Officer for Apcera, compared the Jevons Paradox to modern-day enterprise IT, examin...
